Answer 1. Disability has affected my family in numerous ways, from mental illness to diseases like fibromyalgia. Disability affects everyone, including myself. I am campaigning and advocating for the advancement of all those who are disabled to live fulfilling lives and ensure dignity for all!

Answer 2. One of the biggest challenges is the need for more accessible transportation infrastructure, including side-walks, paths, roads and transit. As well, we must ensure that jobs and workplaces are able to accommodate diverse abilities. Health-care is also a major issue, and we need to ensure there are plenty of doctors, specialists, and health-facilities close to home.

Our party remains committed to these issues with our steady investments in health-care, infrastructure and the economy. We're training more doctors, hiring more nurses and building more quick care clinics. We are building better roads, better active transportation and working to ensure transit is accessible. These investments, along with investments in the economy have ensured our economy is strong and creating plenty of jobs. We will continue to ensure this so all people will have access to well-paying jobs. I also strongly support the NDP commitment to an assured income for persons living with disabilities.
