Answer 1. I believe every family has been affected by disability issues in some way. For my family, a cousin who is living with an intellectual disability comes to mind because she has had many successes, in large part due to support in the community. She has been successfully working in the community and I am always happy to see her at work as I can tell how much she enjoys it.

Answer 2. One of the biggest accessibility challenges in our community is transportation. This can be a big hurdle for folks in the rural areas of the constituency as well as in Selkirk. We have supported the local transit system in Selkirk, but there are always improvements that can be made and I am committed to working with our municipal partners to make those improvements. I will also work with them to find a solution to the cancellation of the Beaver Bus as I think having a bussing option between Selkirk and Winnipeg is important for our area residents.
